1. It was very noisy in the corridor until about 3 am because a lot of people were coming back from clubs and concerts.

Yes, it is an urban area, and Colfax is busy and noisy, but the trade-off is that that hotel is also located in the middle of a bunch of desirable concert venues and restaurants, not too far from the capitol, and close to city parks (although there were a lot of liquor stores on the block as well).

3. Because a lot of tourists, including teenagers in groups, were staying at the hotel to head out for skiing next day, and obviously they can party all night and still can head out early in the morning next day, so it was quite noisy for us to have a good night sleep.
