1. They have a fairly expensive breakfast buffet that is mediocre, and they also charge you extra for drinks including coffee.

4. Parking rates near the French Quarter are typically expensive, but I thought this was a bit ridiculous, especially considering I'm already paying to stay at the hotel.

5. Our only complaint was regarding the cost of eating in the dining room, which while elegant is too expensive for breakfast, but there are places close by we were able to walk to, and sometimes we did so-a special favorite was Deanies a seafood restuarant about six blocks away.

10. The next day they asked me to send them the receipts for all of my expenses - I wound up spending about $2000 on esterminators, laundry, cleaning supplies, throwing away clothing, etc.
