1. However I knew that I wasn't going to be disappointed, when one of the reception staff dropped what she was doing to appear at the main hotel door to welcome me, before I'd even paid the taxi driver.

4. What is deeply disappointing is that at no time did a single member of the staff, including the manager who supposedly 'hand-wrote' a note to me with his cell phone number, ever issue me an apology, offer to comp me a breakfast, give me a coupon for a free night on a future visit, etc.
