1. our side of the hotel was very noisy and sometimes we found it difficult to sleep.

4. I think a room on the courtyard on the top floor would probably be my next request, altho perhaps it may be noisy in the courtyard rooms as the courtyard hosts wedding receptions (2 while we were there for 2 days), not sure.

8. Second, the hotel fronts on to a Bourbon St, side street, and if you had a room at the front it would be noisy, especially on a weekend.

9. The two things that reviewers complained about that are actually true are 1) It's a bit noisy, so bring earplugs 2) The wi-fi is essentially useless.
