1. It was a little loud in my room, but once I got used to the noise, it really wasn't an issue.

2. they issued another couple a pass card to my room (my new roommates?) and the poor folks where shocked to see my husband and myself there when they opened the door.

5. A few things: 1) the balcony rooms with 'partial view of the river' also feature a 'full view of the parking lot and on-ramp' - that having been said, there isn't so much traffic in Portland even during rush hour that traffic noise was an issue.

7. Ear plugs would have solved any noise issues, which I always bring whenever I travel.

8. Our only criticism was the issue of ensuring glasses and mugs were sealed with some sort of "cleaning" approval.
