We were in room 11, and although we loved the room, it had two downsides with not being very far west:a) late at night we would occasionally hear loud/drunk people walking along the boardwalk; Being further west would have alleviated this problem by not only being further from the boardwalk, but also the wave crashes would have been louder further west, thus muffling boardwalk noise even more.

3. With the windows & door open, the waves were very LOUD and made it hard to sleep if you're not used to a lot of noise.

5. I am from the East Coast, and to me PB looks like any other family oriented, especially teen-centric, beach town -- lots of sun and fun apparel shops, temporary tattoo parlors, fast food (including a Denny`s), and loud music.

6. As far as having a soothing, restful night of the sleep above the waves, I am surprised to have not read any other reviews mentioning the loud crashing and rumbling and the severe jolts and shaking that my wife and I experienced.
