1. Without kids none of the items above would have been an issue and we certainly hold none of them against the Park Hyatt.

2. Here are some tips/issues we had:- The bedroom door had no lock and kids rarely knock.

3. The issues and oversights started with the misinformation at check-in that our rooms included continental breakfast for two (there were three of us), though they decided on our third day that full breakfast was included with our rooms.

4. Finally (and im going to sound a little bratty here), we informed them that we were coming for our honeymoon so I was expecting some sort of romantic set up in the room to welcome us, like small candles or flowers, or even a massage oil gift set ;) I dont think these are issues that should stop anyone from booking a night here.

7. I understand that many visitors leave DC on the weekends, but can't a five-star establishment afford to keep at least one housecar on hand for weekend guests? This issue aside, I won't be straying from the Park Hyatt on any of my future trips to DC.

8. On other small issue was that the maids seemed to have only very limited English skills and didn't seem to be able to understand that I was asking them to return later when I happened to be in the room during turndown service.

9. I'm also partial to the area (we actually live nearby but were staying in the hotel due to an issue with our condo).

10. If you are a private person, you may have issue with this as the space is very open.
