This DC trip we thought we'd stay at the W as it looked so new and nice, but also give the Kimpton a try for a night as we've heard good things about that chain and I have to say I have been converted - I think this W DC will be my last W experience - the hospitality and friendliness of the Kimpton folk was how the W used to be back in the day - they really make you well welcomed.
