1. hugely overpriced, and impersonal/detached service, PLASTIC CUPS for water and STYROFOAM cups for coffee, similar to a Motel 6.

4. One thing we did fine odd , the pool and hot tub closed at 6 pm- not a huge deal but the day we climbed Diamond Head it might have been nice to soak in the hot tub that night.

5. Views from any room are magnificent, and calling my room a 'partial' ocean view is a huge undersell - sitting on the balcony on the 11th floor provided a fantastic vista of both the International Marketplace and the ocean.

6. the beachcomber is in a great location - just across the road from waikiki beach - in the middle of a whole heap of high end shops and the international marketplace is around the corner - fantastic for dinner - cheap cheap cheap and the quality of the food is fantastic with a huge range of types of food.
