1. My room was lovely, think 1960s charm, with 2012 comforts, sheets crisp and clean a cute little stainless kitchette, a wonderful Lanai, lots of wood finishings but with plenty of lighting for those of us with not so good eyes.

2. People from all walks of life stay at this hotel, Very affordable & very comfortable, always feel secure, 1/2 block to Waikiki Beach, transportation nearby and large variety of local Waikiki shopping - a true 'light at the end of a tunnel' with the totally rare old Hawaiian island charm.
