Since there was no AC in the room (which was fine given Seattle usually stays pretty
cool
), and leaving the windows open was not an option because of the noise, it was kind of hard to fall asleep during the first night when it was hot.

We checked out the
cool
roof top deck and could see the top of the Space Needle which was approx 7 blocks away and found the Puget Sound when we looked in the other direction.

Unfortunately, so was our room - with no A/C or effective window ventilation it was pretty steamy (it did
cool
off at night).
