1. As long as this place keeps up its cleanliness, I can't ever see paying big bucks to stay at other nearby hotels which may be nicer, but are so much more expensive again.

This place was excellent,I am going back,it was central enough to go anywhere I wanted,what more could you want when you want to go go out and about to visit Chicago?For me there was no point in a big hotel as I do not want to spend my holiday in ,the Idea is to get out and about,I have read some peoples complaints,and I think there unjustified,I went December 06 and it was below freezing,my room was cozy.
