1. We decided to spend a week in las vegas on short notice, so finding an affordable hotel was not that easy.

The good: Excellent location on the center of the strip, very affordable, excellent breakfast place available (Hash House)The bad: Rooms were poor (and not terribly clean), the beds weren't great, the casino was abhorrent (in both value and appearance), the elevator/hall layout is literally a maze, etc.

All in all the Imperial Palace served its purpose, in being affordable and well located, but while I would certainly revisit their restaurants and I liked the relaxed vibe on the casino floor, we weren't made to feel all that valued by the department who are, let's face it, the first people you see and your main point of contact for hotel services, so I don't know if I would stay here again.
