If you're going to Colorado on vacation for these activities AND the city, I would recommend splitting up your trip between this hotel and one in Estes Park or Colorado Springs closer to all of the outdoor stuff like hiking, ATV rides, etc (a LOT to do in Colorado Springs that we missed for lack of time spent driving.

7. We wanted to spend some of our time in the city of Denver in shops, museums, etc (hotel a reasonable distance from there) and some of our time doing outdoor things like Rocky Mountains National Park, the Cog Train ride to Pike's Peak, etc.

8. We're both tall and the shower head didn't force us to squat to get under it like a lot of hotel showers do and water pressure was good.

9. We like to stay in Denver for a few days to see friends in conjunction with a ski trip, and just keep coming back to this Embassy Suites.
