1. I also found that the clientele of the hotel tended to be more sophisticated than at others where we`ve stayed in Key West, lending to the enjoyable ambience.

Anywhere else this would definitely be described as a slum area, however things are clearly a little different in Key West so don`t expect what you have at home, and if you are content to simply wander up Duval Street, and enjoy some of the bizarre yet quite enjoyable restaurants available in locations you will sometimes have difficulty believing, then you`re staying at the right place.

4. The best recommendation we can give is that we will be going back for a third and no doubt equally relaxing and enjoyable visit later this year.

5. We were blessed with sun throughout our stay and warm evenings, so we had a perfect combination of peaceful daytime relaxation and touring combined with active and enjoyable evenings at the bars and clubs on Duval street, which was only a 10 min walk away.
