1. Next to the hotel is a Seven Eleven and laundromat, also across the road is Subway, Chinese restaurant, small supermarket and barber also a big pharmacy that sells everything and I do mean everything.

2. The fact that they have FREE parking (a big perk while in LA) and FREE internet (albeit just one computer by the check in window) gives it great value, compared to the outrageous prices out there in Los Angeles.

3. They did not offer to reverse it and take another form of payment instead, but fortuantely for us it did not be that big of a deal, although I`m sure it would have been for somone that used a debit card.
