1. It is rather like staying in the bow of a ship (it comes to a point) with ceiling to floor glass on all sides -- so the views are perfectly wonderful.

2. If you want to walk to downtown Nashville- about 5 minute walk to Broadway and cheap taxi if you don't feel like it.

3. Nice that there is no charge, but I wouldn't recommend it if you have real work to do, like graphics or web conferencing.

4. I would fork over a little extra cash and stay at the Hermitage or Hutton instead--or just go for one of the more budget brands like the Indigo.

7. Planned a trip to Nashville for fun, but like to return to a quiet place to sleep and this was not what we got at the Doubletree.

9. However, the lobby 'store' was also inadequately stocked, appearing more like a privately owned convenience store in the middle of the country rather than an area to serve patrons of a nationally renowned hotel chain.

10. The staff from the valet to the front desk to the lady that prepared the omlettes and the service people all were outstanding, very polite, and made you feel like a valued guest.
