7. For $35 a head, and the hour spent, it was well worth it for a fun and efficient way to see a large part of the French Quarter, and learn of it landmarks and history.

8. Since every meal was catered, I cannot comment on the restaurants, except to say the lobby bar is spacious, comfortable, and kind of fun when there is a game on the Huge screen, because the locals fill it up and mingle with the hotel guests.

9. Also very fun were the super high tech elevators, which have no internal buttons -- you punch in your floor number on the key pad and the display informs you which elevator will be carrying you upward.
