1. Overall, the stay was good, price wasn't bad and the location was convenient, the hotel just needs a makeover.

3. One suggestion to the hotel: the single cup coffee pots are very convenient, but if there are two adults in the room and one does not drink decaf, you have to call housekeeping for more regular coffee (or vice versa if both drink decaf) - suggest two of each coffee.

4. The location is very convenient - it is next to the golf course, a couple of minutes to Fashion Valley Mall and a very short drive to anywhere in central San Diego including Old Town, Downtown, Mission Bay and the beaches.

5. The location was very convenient, shopping area was just 5 minutes drive behind the hotel, and Old Town was just across the highway.

I wonder where it went?To sum up: the Hanalei Crowne Plaza is in a great location in Hotel Circle, really convenient to all the major SD attractions, has a nice pool area, a nice bar/sushi restaurant, great and friendly staff, AND you get to look at and appreciate some old tikis who have been on the property since probably before you were born.
