1. I recommend making coffee at your room & taking it to the restaurant and eating a la carte, or even better go to Hannara's just up the road, they are suppose to have the best pancakes on the island, my husband had eaten pancakes 3 different mornings and said that theirs were the best.

The room accommodations are well above average; the scenery is genuine country Hawaii; the staff were very helpful and responsive to our needs; dinner dining at the restaurant was very enjoyable; unless you want to be where the masses and action is located and cost is not a problem, the Makaha Resort is an exceptional find for the island of Oahu.
