1. The rest is standard 'marriottness': very standard amenities, internet for a fee (though they do have one computer with free access in the lobby), super expensive parking, not much of a restaurant.

2. I did so, waited the 15 minutes before I went to the lobby to check out which took 5 or 6 minutes, and I STILL had to wait ANOTHER 15 minutes before they retrieved my car - all this for a valet fee of $35.

3. Mayflower waived our valet parking fee at Renaissance Dupont (only after I asked).

4. As if the $200 per night room fee wasn't enough, next the parking is $35 per night and the valet people want tips.

7. Still wondering why Marriott thinks that charging $13-$17 or whatever outrageous fee it was a day for internet access in the room is an acceptable thing to do.

8. Only thing I don't like is paying for wifi and the fees for the business centre - avoid if ou can.
