1. We received a 50% discount for booking on short-notice, which was probably the only way we would have considered staying in this luxurious place as we are not the type to pamper ourselves and spend mega bucks.

2. while checking in we were told because we made a last minute reservation, that was a discounted price,if we wanted breakfast, it would be another $15 per person.

3. With the discount, the price was manageable and we felt like royalty with our magical ocean-front view, gourmet breakfast, personal jet-tub, luxurious garden and hot-tub, etc. etc. etc. We planned to only stay one night, but ended up staying for two nights because we didn't want to leave.
