2. I tried the Maui Taco place (if that is the correct name) which has no bathrooms but is decent food.

3. However, that hotel , which is just a walk across the grass from the Days Inn, has a store where you can buy deli items, groceries and other sundries, as well as baked goods, and I bought what I needed for food from them during my stay.

4. A wonderful Italian restaurant Sorrentos is right next dorr and has wonderful food and a great setting right on the beach .

It's on a gorgeous beach with a beautiful reef right off the hotel property (my husband saw sea turtles in this little reef!), it's on a great central part of the island that's not in the center of town but close enough to easily find shops and restaurants, and it's right next door to great food at the Five Palms and Sorrento.

7. For cheaper food options you need to be keen for a walk or have a car to get to the other shops and restaurants up South Kihei road (about a mile I think).
