although the hotel was built in the 1960's style it has weathered the years nicely and is still loveingly cared for, but it is slated for destruction early 2009 so experience the
classic
Seacoast inn while you still can, it will be missed as it is the last few of the oceanfront hotels left so dont waste your time on "the Hotel Circle inn chains" in town as I have so many times as this independent inn is just fine and on the beach.

If you want to stay close to the excitement of San Diego yet be able escape to an uncrowded quiet location on the beach the Seacoast Inn is the Relaxation Headquarters and Imperial Beach is
classic
Southern California, home of the world famous surfhenge.
