1. It open from 6 am and I drove there (2.3 miles away) for great Thai breakfast instead of the free concierge lounge breakfast.

5. The Navigator (Concierge) here is very good, got us dinner/lunch reservations and suggestions in the Beverly Hills area easily and we found on our own a WONDERFUL place to hike to the top for the vista looking down on this city.

6. We normally feel comfortable when we go to a concierge lounge at Marriott but we did not feel this way at all at this one -- the staff there did not smile at all.

The front desk service the night before was sterile and unhelpful and the impression we got was that everything was going to be chargeable from the extortionate costs of wifi for so many minutes etc etc. Isn't it so amazing that the unpretentious cheaper *double-the-size* suites at Holiday Inn Suites , Hampton Suites /Comfort Suites are able to provide you complimentary breakfast, wi-fi , gym , pools , ample free parking and friendly concierge services.

8. There is a small concierge lounge on an upper floor for a quiet evening beverage and snack, once again the woman managing that lounge was very gracious.
