2. Without a jeep you have to use the island bus service which is good and will take you 7 miles to the only beach with access by tarmac road, although one of the best beaches on the island.

6. As previously noted, the hotel and restaurant are under new management and the food and service pale in comparison.

7. One warning: on days when the restaurant is not open for dinner, the hotel staff leaves around 5 o'clock, so if you want service (ice, for example), you had better get it before 5.
