On the plus side:- Beautiful hotel- excellent location- big room with decent city views (suite on 11th floor)- good room service- attentive front of house- one of the best hotel bathrooms I've experienced (albeit a bit small) Negative:- this hotel just lacks that something 'special' to make it memorable.

9. I was booked into a City View King room, and when I arrived to drop off my luggage at noon, I was told that they had upgraded me to a City View Suite.

10. A couple of tips for the hotel - ask for a room that is high up (30th floor or above), facing north with views of Central Park, and does not have an adjoining door to another room or suite.
