1. If you go some streets down in Soma, there are some cool and fairly cheap restaurants, maybe one of the only positive sides of the neighborhood.

5. The Good Hotel is just south of Market, on the edge of the booming SoMa area, which is a bit sleazy and a bit cutting edge, with cool coffee shops, new restaurants, and like that, as well as down-and-out street people hanging around.

10. complimentary breakfast would be nice & convenient, but who really goes to an francisco to eat in the hotel?there are dozens of great restaurants within a few blocks.
