1. LOCATION: an easy drive to a very cool playground (Skinner Butte Park), to duck watching and children's museum at Alton Baker Park, and to Fifth Street Market (which has great toy store).

2. We liked the Korean BBQ right across the street and the Thai place a few blocks down.

3. The Broadway Inn is on a semi-busy street with great access to downtown Eugene.

4. The bathroom tiles were from its original construction some 40-50 years ago and some were cracked, etc. I guess that is tolerable for the price of the room, however, I did check a newer motel down the street on my last day in Eugene 'just to see what I missed out on' and found that it was in better condition for the same general price.
"Only a Two-Star Motel, But... Other than friendly workers, not the best stay I've had. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/30/2011 Vote

6. Next time I'll spend a bit more and stay at once of the Best Westerns on the same street.

7. We knew there wouldn't be milk from previous reviews so we stopped at the 7-11 down the street and bought some after we checked in and just kept it in the fridge.

8. NAVIGATING: You can only turn right out of the parking lot, and there are some one-way streets and odd-angled intersections which makes navigating difficult, but we had a GPS so it didn't bother us.

9. We also bought a fold-out street map on our way to Eugene.

10. Broadway is a busy street, and I noticed a couple of the rooms were next to it and probably noisy, so I would be sure to ask ahead of time for a room located in the back, off of the street.
"No problems; ask for a room away from the highway . . . " Read full review on TripAdvisor   8/10/2011 Vote
