1. There's a new spa and gym, both state of the art; although the gym could offer several sizes of Swiss ball, and also make sure there are plenty of clean headsets.

2. I used the fitness room which was very well laid out if small, and the spa too was attractive.

6. In my view, it is probably the best small hotel in the world, and will certainly be so when its new spa is opened.

7. One word of caution -- they are currently planning on building a new spa and have just broken ground.
"Absolutely Lovely Hotel in Los Angeles " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/28/2008 Vote
8. Our patio backed up against the new spa construction site - there is no spa on property currently and the fitness center (under remodel) is temporarily and tightly forced into two adjoining rooms (stay away from rooms above 300 on the far side of the property, across the service road).
"Great service, antiquated property and rooms " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/7/2008 Vote
9. My partner tried the spa in the morning whilst I chilled and walked around the hotel eventually finishing at the pool.
""Drop Dead Stunning" " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/19/2011 Vote
10. My two other favorite rooms were the Swan Lake Suite (room 138) and the Loft Suites (room 500 and 501) in the Spa buildingThe decor in the rooms is modern, and everything is spotlessly clean.
"Superb Service, Food and Gardens " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/27/2011 Vote
