1. Got this on Hotwire for about $70, so when you add in the free parking and breakfast, it was a good value.

2. We had no problem finding a parking spot on the street behind the hotel (free), as I was feeling to cheap to pay for valet.

The room was nicely appointed - there was a mini fridge in the room, which we really appreciated as we were there two days (we bought some milk, cheese and a salad - was nice to be able to store)Parking is an additional $22 a day - please remember to add that to your budget if you have a vehicle you are parking.

4. One nice thing about the LAX area is that there's free street parking on W 98th St and surrounding areas (I'm not aware of many other airports which have free parking so close to the airport itself).

5. the one bad thing is that they charge you for parking and if you want a free parking it is like amile away and you need to carry your luggage all the way.

When we arrived we understood that it was a really good choice: the rent-a-car offices were in the same area and we could reach any by a shuttle bus, there were plenty of parking lots in the surroundings, it took us only 20 minutes to go to the downtown even with heavy traffic of LA, the food in the restaurant was very good, the staff helpful and professional, the room spacious, comfortable and clean.
