Close to downtown Memphis (a short walk and trolley ride), on the river, 4-poster beds and good-sized rooms, an excellent restaurant (breakfast,
lunch
and dinner), and friendly, attentive service from all involved.

We ate at Tugs for
lunch
, and loved it - just a casual place right next to the hotel - had a perfect club sandwich.

During our brief stay we managed to visit Graceland, Sun Studios, Stax Museum and the National Civil Rights Museum all in one day (just!) with a very quick stop for
lunch
at the Rendezvous Cafe and I would recommend all of these places except perhaps the Rendezvous which is an experience though we thought their famous ribs were nothing special.
