1. The proximity to Downtown Disney was fantastic although the bus service to the other parks was slow enough that we preferred to drive.

4. Given that for us the auto rental expense its unavoidable for that parks we also decided to try a non Disney resort that were close enough to go to Downtown Disney and all the great suroundings that only Disney is able to improve and preserve.

5. Well, it turned out that parking is free at Downtown Disney and a cab would have cost me $8-10 each way.

6. The renovations did not detract from our visit but the location is too far to walk to Disney so you need a 7$ taxi ride or take your own car and park free at Downtown Disney and use the Disney transport to get around the resorts.

7. If you are interested in getting out and about, you are only minutes from Downtown Disney, and a vast amounts of restaurants from fast food to steakhouse, Bahama Breeze, TGIFridays, Chevys Mexican and so on.
