1. I haven't rated the hotel with 5 stars due to the small room size, lack of kettle/coffee machine in the room, very small bath towels and the refurbishment works which theoretically start daily at 9am but in practice you can start hearing the noise from 7:30am.

8. If you can stay in one of the larger rooms, or don't mind the lack of privacy in the small ones, It's a great place to stay on crowded Waikiki without feeling too overwhelmed by the overpopulated and touristy aspects of the main strip.
