1. Since the only food/water you can carry is that which is purchased there, you may want to purchase at least water (though overpriced) in the event you have a delay.

2. , but worth mentioning that the airport is open air, has very limited vendors (tiny gift shop, tiny news stand, and a very overpriced small cafe - food not so good) so plan accordingly.
