For my first stay I overlooked the street and found ir very
noisy
, not only the protestors which others have remarked on, but the general street/traffic noise which seemd to go on all night.

The location is two mins from union square which is nice but it could be quite
noisy
due to refuse lorries and people in the early hours.

Also the room was a little
noisy
, especially with fire engine sirens through the night (there seems to be a fire station very nearby), not something you can totally eliminate but better windows would reduce the noise.

It was very clean and tidy but
noisy
as right on the road so sirens, car horns and drunken shouting did keep us awake.
