1. I've stayed at the very expensive hotels and some cheaper, then I discovered the gem of the Edison.

9. There is also a travel desk and a computer terminal near reception so you can book a car/shuttle etc back to the airport (we found it was a little more expensive than booking direct with the shuttle bus company at around $27 pp to JFK, but this was inclusive of tax and gratuities).
