1. The staff at the check in are unfriendly, unhelpful and have an air of being utterly bored and hating their job.

4. Generally the staff are unhelpful, especially the door man how would scowl at you and even go to the extent of walking away from the door without opening it for you when your hands were full with bags etc.

5. The Edison is only yards from Times Square so is excellent location wise, decor a bit dated, and some of the Staff (Not All) were a bit unhelpful, but overall the Three days we had their post cruise was reasonable, the Room was clean and the Maids polite.

Most of the staff we encountered were charming - particularly the security guys the only exception was the conceirge (Gian) who was most unhelpful when we asked if there was a quiet area we could use in the hotel to make a freephone call to our airline when we were notified our flight home had been cancelled.

10. The only problem that I've ever had here was that the lady at the Concierge was rude and unhelpful but I suspect only because I was trying to ask about alternative car services to the airport rather than the one that she was recommending.
