1. This was a strange experience for my partner and i,we found the the staff at front desk very friendly but the atmoshpere just a little awkward and felt a little uncomfortable at times,the hotel is on kind of a complex with residential apartments/homes,shops etc,.

2. I could tell that the hotel was trying to keep things fairly upmarket, but in the 'boutique' space, one must accommodate a certain degree of casual behavior, and this duality showed and was a bit awkward.
