1. Room was filthy, elevator was not functioning, all staff but one lacking in any semblance of caring.

5. Workers in the neighboring Bank of America building also commented on the lack of privacy from the large, un-tinted windows which they can easily see through from the east side of that building.

7. What we found instead was very helpful and cheerful staff, but a general lack of investment in the facilities themselves--ice machines on every other floor (and the two above and below were broken), old towels, painted tile.

8. After finally meeting the manager, she seemed very surprised to hear of my complaints (though she acknowledged the lack of basic service and toilettries) and offered my party a bottle of wine to compensate for the lack of service; she said she would have the bottle in our room.
