5. Husband and I were in new Orleans for the Jazz Festival ( along with 50,000 other 'guests') and had booked another hotel ( which will remain anonymous).

I stayed here with my son while visiting Tulane-wanted to stay in the French Quarter, even though Tulane was a bit far away-The room was perfect size-I upgraded to a larger room-we had comfortable beds-the room was cleaned immaculately each day-one night I was awaken by a drunk guest, but this is the price you pay for staying so close to Bourbon street-the hotel has a beautiful rooftop pool/bar-It is perfectly situated to walk to most areas of new Orleans-I will definitely stay here again when I return to my favorite city.
