5. Immediately there is a musty odor of an old hotel, not necessarily smoke, and certainly not of renovations (new carpet or paint).

8. The desk told me they didnt have a room right then but they would move our stuff (again) to the new room when it was ready.

9. The lodge had late 70's wall paper throughout in spite of a claim to have been newly renovated and had paint pealing off allover the exterior.
