1. The reason I gave this hotel a very good instead of excellent? Two reasons: No smoke detector in the room and the bathroom could have used a better cleaning.

7. The place is within walking distance (10-15 minutes) from downtown Hilo even though, with all the rainfall on that part of the island, moving by car could be a better option sometimes.
