4. Manele Bay is wonderful, don't get me wrong, but a beach resort is just a beach resort at the end of the day -- the Lodge is something really special and unique.

8. Try to do it on a sunny day if you want to see Molokai and Maui clearly but it still is wonderful with clouds and mist flowing through the valley.

9. I do wonder why the attitude is different, as my moniker suggests, the details are everything and so many of them are not costly but management attitude toward service.
