1. Nice lobby with excellent concierge service.

2. It is peaceful however and close to Central Park and Columbus Circle Underground which was excellent for getting round when our legs were tired.

5. The only downside was booking this way landed us a smoking room when we wanted non-smoking and there were no nonsmoking alternatives available however the room was well aired and fresh and didn't even smell of smoke, It had operable windows which was refreshing and we had room service dinner which was excellent value for money and HUGE portions.

7. I booked this hotel through a bid on Priceline so the price was excellent for the stay, however I'd have been willing to pay a 'few dollars' more for better quality.
