1. At the front desk they told us that was not neccesary because ' there was nothing going on outside so it would be quiet' We waited an hour and went back the room still was not ready,We finally got a room at the front of the hotel.

4. Clean, polite staff, quiet, free shuttle that rocked as far as we were concerned (lucky to ride with another couple who did the DC-in-a-day like we were and turned us on to the Hop-On Hop-Off tour buses from Union Station which the hotel shuttle got us to and from).

6. the quality is exceptional, the staff was accommodating, the room was quiet, the shuttle was very convenient (just avoid rush-hour use) - it was an easy way to visit the city and not pay a fortune, while still staying in a nice hotel.
