9. The management did apologize when I complained about the maid service being unacceptable (and sent someone straight away to clean it, but we still had to wait outside our room), and when we checked out, we were refunded one night (it does one good to complain nicely without being a jerk).

10. First of all let me say that I have stayed in many Best Westerns and I travel a lot for work, so I have nothing against them, and have been fortunate to stay in some good ones.
