5. As I said, I'm not saying the hotel is responsible for our loss but they could have done a lot more to make the situation better and been more accomodating.

6. While the signs clearly state the hotel is not responsible for theft or damage, I would expect that they would have some kind of human decency and sympathy for our situation.
