3. The gym is small but perfectly formed - with complementary isotonic drinks and fruit to help you through your work out, and every piece of equipment that you may need (free weights, cardio machines, resistance machines, power plates, kettle balls, resistance bands, yoga mats).

7. From the front desk staff who know your likes and dislikes, who remember what room style you prefer and on what floor, from the valets who seem to remember you know matter how long it's been since your last stay, to the room service employees who are genuinely friendly and happy to help you out.

9. The day we left, on a Sunday, the City was paving the road just outside, and it must have been a nightmare for the parking staff; you'd never know it - they were calm, organized, and polite as can be getting our car and helping us navigate around all the commotion.
