1. We stayed at this hotel previously when it was known as The Hollywood Heights, we liked the location then but the decor was in need of attention.

2. The only thing we don't like about this hotel is the $30 per day valet parking, which feels a little excessive - but the other hotels in the area are similar, and I guess that's what you get for being in the middle of a hot spot in the city.

3. Not a bad hotel in the aspect of things, we stayed on the 2nd floor the bathroom stunk like deep fried food but was bearable when the door was closed.

4. We had not been advised of construction work taking place however this did not inconvenience us as we like to rise early and get on with our day and we did not return until after work had ceased for the day.

5. We was only there for 3 days so we was hardly in the hotel which meant that we didnt get to use all the hotel facilites like the pool and restaurant.

8. There's a nice little pool and hot tub with loungers and cabanas which we liked for a late afternoon dip, a clean folded towel placed on each chair for convenience.

9. It is very close to Hollywood and metro and near bus stop which is nice for a tourist with no car like me.

10. The other reviews are right, the hotel stinks of smoke and the people next door smoked like chimneys as they opened the windows and blew their smoke out it whisked into our room.
